Arabian Nights Project

'Arabian Nights', also known as '1001 nights', is a collection of classic stories from the Middle east and and Asian regions. My project was to pick a few stories from the collection and illustrate them. The inspiration for this was the way The Folio Society approaches the illustrations for their books, which is a lot more sophisticated and tailored to a more mature audience as opposed to children (whom the majority of illustrated books are targeted towards).
